Assignment for Contemporary Topics Unit 1 Slang: Talking Cool

(You'll have to scroll down until you see the title)

After you've read it, post the following to your blog:

1. A brief summary
2. What you agree with
3. What you disagree with
4. Questions that you have about the reading

Be sure to include personal examples in your responses (ex: When I was a teenager, we used slang to see if other people were "cool" enough to hang out with our group).

Also, you will need to visit your group members' blogs and respond to their posts using the Comments function.
